OK…so we are a bit late with this blog post but, since this event, it’s been pretty busy here at the Bad Sheep Boutique!
The very first Hert’s Pride was held in Cassiobury Park, Watford on Saturday 31st August and it turned out to be a wonderful day!
It was great to see such a mixture of people there. Of course it was an LGBT event, but families and passing people would wander along and join in with the fun.
The above image doesn’t really show off how busy it got. We even got quite sunburnt, as it turned out to be such a bright and sunny day! Everyone just seemed so happy and relaxed.
There was loads of entertainment to enjoy including a fab funfair, an outdoor stage, an indoor over 18’s stage with bar area and of course the market area, which is where we were!
We had lots of our products on show at the stall and it was wonderful being able to let people see everything and talk to them about the stock. Our unique products certainly caught people’s attention, which is just what we were after! 🙂
We are hoping to get some video footage online soon as well as lots more photos on our Facebook page, so if you haven’t already, please ‘like’ us on Facebook for updates.
Also, you can follow Hert’s Pride for details of future events.
It really is a great way to get people together to enjoy being who they are and not be judged.
You don’t have to be gay or transgender to go along to one of these events. Just show your support and have fun.
That’s what the Bad Sheep Boutique is all about; being unique, being yourself….not following the flock!
